LAS VEGAS (October, 2025) – Marker Trax, the leading provider of cashless credit solutions for the gaming industry, today announced that Mark Karen has joined the company as Vice President of Product, effective immediately.

Karen brings more than 30 years of experience leading large-scale software development, product strategy, and technology innovation across highly regulated gaming and enterprise environments. In his new role, he will oversee cross-functional teams responsible for product strategy and execution, guiding Marker Trax’ product roadmap from concept through launch while supporting the company’s continued growth across land-based and digital gaming platforms.

Most recently, Karen served as Sr. Vice President of Software Development at Aristocrat Technologies, where he led global engineering teams supporting Class II and Class III gaming systems, the Gaming Development Kit (GDK), and studio development initiatives for Secret Sauce and Studio 54. During his tenure at Aristocrat, he played a key role in delivering scalable, high-performance gaming platforms and tools used across multiple markets.

Prior to Aristocrat, Karen held senior leadership and development roles at Cash Systems Inc., Bally Gaming, Konami Gaming, and Sigma Game Inc., contributing to the development of award-winning gaming and embedded software products. Across his career, he has led organizations of more than 300 team members, managed multi-million-dollar technology portfolios, and driven product innovation within complex regulatory frameworks.

As Vice President of Product at Marker Trax, Karen will lead product planning and prioritization efforts, oversee submissions to independent test laboratories (ITLs), and guide mobile application development. He will also supervise technology buildout and expansion initiatives supporting both land-based casino environments and digital gaming solutions.
